Take or select a clear picture of the printed name, strength and EXP date. Review every result against the package before saving. Use manual entry if recognition is incomplete. HomeDue cannot identify an unlabeled pill.

Dates and restocks
Use the package or pharmacy date when available. Restock creates a separate batch, preserving older dates. Used Up removes a finished batch; Discarded records its cost as waste; Delete corrects a mistaken entry.
Back up and restore
Your inventory is stored on this device. Before deleting the app or switching devices, use Settings → Export Inventory Backup. Restore validates the file and asks before replacing existing records. A backup cannot activate paid access.
Purchases
Restore Purchases checks paid access with Apple; it does not restore inventory. Deleting local data or uninstalling HomeDue does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Device reminders
Enable Device Reminders in Settings. Permissions and Focus settings may affect delivery. Open HomeDue periodically to refresh scheduled dates. Do not rely on HomeDue for urgent medical alerts.
Delete local data
Delete Local Data requires confirmation and clears inventory, activity and local reminders. Exported files and system backups must be managed separately. Deleting data does not cancel an Apple subscription.
